From June 1, a new bus route No. 48 will start operating in Zaporizhzhia, which will run along the Embankment highway. The new route will connect the Dniprovskyi and Kosmichnyi districts of the city, as well as provide more convenient access to popular recreation areas, shopping centers, and the Central beach. This was reported by the Zaporizhzhia City Council.

The new route will operate between the stops «BK ZAlK» in the Dniprovskyi district and «Simferopol Highway» in the Kosmichnyi district.
City officials emphasize that this is the first public transport route to run along the Embankment highway.
Up to eight buses will operate on the route daily.

Thanks to bus No. 48, residents of the city will be able to reach popular recreation spots faster.

Local authorities note that the launch of the route is expected to improve transport connections between different areas of Zaporizhzhia.
How bus No. 48 will operate in Zaporizhzhia
Towards the Kosmichnyi district, the bus will travel along Metallurhiv Avenue, Peremoha Street, Shevchenko Boulevard, Tbilisi Street, and the Embankment highway.
In the opposite direction, the transport will operate via Kosmichna, Chumachenko, Zakarpatskoho Lehiionu, Paramonov, Oleksandra Hovorukhi, and Avtozavodska Street.
The city hall believes that the new route will be convenient for residents of several city districts and will help improve the transport accessibility of popular public spaces.
It is recalled that on May 26, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia. As a result of the shelling, at least three people were injured, including two women aged 27 and 40, and a 36-year-old man.
