In Zaporizhzhia, the movement of some trams and trolleybuses is being changed for six days . Restrictions will be in effect daily from July 28 to August 2 during the morning hours, and some routes on July 28 and 29 will be adjusted additionally. This is reported by Zaporizhelektrotrans.
How trams will operate in Zaporizhzhia from July 28 to August 2
Daily from 03:00 to 13:00, trams No. 3 and No. 16 will not run from Transport Square to the terminus 'Zaporizhzhia-I Station'. The reason is repair work on the section of the track.
During the restrictions, both routes will run from Transport Square along Universitetskaya Street through the Central Market and Freedom Square, after which they will continue in the direction of the 'Ukraine' shopping center according to the usual schemes.
For tram No. 16, another change is foreseen. On July 28 and 29 from 09:00 to 13:30, due to the repair of the turning loop 'Pavlo-Kichkas', it will not run on the corresponding section.
During this time, tram No. 16 will travel from Transport Square through the Central Market and Freedom Square to the 'Zaporizhzhia Circus' loop. Passengers should consider this when traveling to the station and the industrial part of the city.
Trolleybus movement in Zaporizhzhia: what will change until August 2
From 03:00 to 13:00, trolleybuses No. 8 and No. 14 will not operate between the stops 'Bus Station' and 'School No. 70'. During this period, Route No. 8 will operate from Zaporizhzhia Square to 'Zaporizhzhia-I Station'.
Some of the trolleybus No. 14 routes will be carried out by vehicles with autonomous drive according to the approved scheme. Other routes will run from the terminus 'Naberezhnaya' to 'Zaporizhzhia-I Station'.
Some changes on July 28 will affect trolleybus No. 9. Due to the elimination of the consequences of Russian shelling, it will operate on the route 'Sedov Street – Zaporizhzhia Square' along Soborny Avenue.
Bus No. 97 will operate without adjustments, according to the current schedule. Temporary schemes are intended to reduce the impact of repairs on transport in the city, but passengers are advised to check the route in advance before traveling.
