On July 2, public transport in Zaporizhzhia will operate on changed routes due to the closure of bus and trolleybus traffic across the DniproHES dam and technical and repair work on urban infrastructure. Some trolleybus routes will be temporarily canceled, and some will switch to autonomous operation. This is reported by the Zaporizhzhia City Council.
Public transport in Zaporizhzhia on July 2: which routes will change
The city council announced that on July 2, trolleybuses will operate on temporary routes.
In particular:

Route No. 3 will operate from '4th Southern microdistrict - Zaporizhzhia Square', and from 08:00 to 18:00 - 'Zaporizhzhia Square - Zaporizhzhia-I train station';

Route No. 8 will operate from 'Simferopol Highway - Zaporizhzhia Square';

Route No. 9 - 'BK ZALK - Sedov Street';

Route No. 25 - 'Sedov Street - Zaporizhzhia Square'.
The operation of trolleybuses No. 1 and No. 11 is temporarily suspended.
Due to the damage to power cables, trolleybus No. 14 will partially operate on autonomous mode. Additionally, from 09:00 to 18:00, the movement of trolleybuses on Kosmichna Street will be halted on the section from Skladska Street to Skhidna Street.
DniproHES and repairs: how buses and trams will operate
Trams No. 3, No. 10, No. 12, No. 14, No. 15, and No. 16 will operate on standard approved routes.
At the same time, buses No. 7, No. 29, No. 34A, No. 38, No. 39, No. 48, No. 56, No. 59, No. 71, No. 86, and No. 94 will run on the route 'B. Zavady Street - Epicenter'.
Buses No. 17, No. 18, and No. 72 from Borodynskyi and Osypenkivskyi neighborhoods will detour via Arkova Bridge, Khortytsia Island, Metallurhiv Avenue, and Zaporizhzhia Square, after which they will return to their usual routes.
Moreover, additional bus routes 'Pishchana Street - Metallurhiv Avenue' and 'Zaporizhkabel Plant - Metallurhiv Avenue' will operate.
The city council noted that in case of new changes, information will be published additionally.
Additionally, the authorities reminded that from July 1, schoolchildren in Zaporizhzhia have the right to a 50% discount on public transport fares throughout the year with a student ID or a certificate from the educational institution.
It is worth noting that on June 29, Russian troops attacked the building of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration (RSA) twice with a drone.
