Deployment of Mobile Shelters in Zaporizhzhia
By the end of this year, Zaporizhzhia plans to have installed 15 mobile shelters strategically positioned along school bus routes to safeguard children from aerial threats. This initiative is backed by a 40 million hryvnia budget, funded through support from the Poltava and Kirovohrad regions as part of a national government program. Installation work is set to begin shortly, enabling quick protection in case of emergencies.

In addition to this, the Zaporizhzhia region has already constructed 23 underground schools and renovated over 150 shelters, underscoring the local government's dedication to protecting children and residents amid escalating risks. Addressing drone-related threats is also a priority. Plans include reinforcing windows of hospitals, municipal facilities, and government offices with ballistic film, while entrances and exits are being fortified with anti-drone nets.
