In Zaporizhzhia, the operation of tram routes will be temporarily changed due to the repair of tracks and road surfaces. On certain routes, trams will be replaced by buses, while one route will be completely suspended. This was reported by the Zaporizhzhia City Council.
Trams in Zaporizhzhia: how transportation will change
The restrictions will be in effect from 9:00 AM on May 4 until May 25. The reason is the major repair of the crossing at the intersection of Patriotychna Street and Central Boulevard.
During this period:

Tram No. 3 will operate on the route «Zaporizhzhia Train Station-I — Shkilna Street» via the tram depot

Tram No. 16 will not operate temporarily.
These changes are being implemented to carry out work without completely stopping transportation services.
Buses instead of trams: which routes will be launched
To compensate for the absence of some trams, additional bus routes will be organized in the city.

This will allow maintaining connections between key areas of the city during the repairs.

In addition to changes in public transport, there will be restrictions for cars on that section. The movement of private transport will be organized according to temporary road signs.
