An official application «Digital Zaporizhzhia» has been launched in Zaporizhzhia. It complements the city portal and the «Citizen's Cabinet», and some services can now be accessed directly from a smartphone. The city is already developing digital services for passengers. The launch was announced by the Zaporizhzhia City Council on October 8 .
The application is available on the App Store and Google Play in beta testing mode. This means that the service can already be used, and developers are concurrently collecting feedback and checking its performance.
What city services are available in the application «Digital Zaporizhzhia»
Through «Digital Zaporizhzhia», you can contact the call center «15-80» and check the status of your application. After authorization, the history of requests is saved, allowing the user to return to previous messages.
The application also includes public transport schedules and tracking, a shelter map, information about ongoing repairs, and city surveys. Additionally, contact information for utility companies and a transport card are available.
This complements other municipal digital solutions: for example, students in Zaporizhzhia can already confirm their fare discount through their smartphone.
How to log in and set up notifications
You can log in via Google, Apple ID, or with your username and password from the «Citizen's Cabinet». You can also set an additional code for access and customize the home screen by placing the most needed services on it.
Users can enable push notifications for air raid alerts and their cancellation, city threats, and a national moment of silence. Each category can be activated or deactivated separately.
The application was developed by the municipal enterprise «Center for Management of Information Technologies». According to the city council, the work was done using internal resources without additional budget expenditures. While the service is being tested, residents are asked to report errors and inconveniences. This will help determine what should be changed or added, particularly in the section where one can track urban transport routes.
