In Zaporizhzhia, from May 9 to May 11, public transport operations will be changed due to the closure of bus and trolleybus traffic across the DniproHES dam. Some routes will be temporarily shortened, and some trolleybuses and trams will not operate at all. This is reported by the Zaporizhzhia City Council.
Which trolleybuses and trams will change their routes
In the city, trolleybus routes No. 3, No. 8, No. 9, and No. 25 will operate temporarily. Meanwhile, the movement of trolleybuses No. 1 and No. 11 has been completely suspended.
Trams No. 10, No. 12, and No. 15 will operate according to standard schedules. Route No. 14 will temporarily work in the direction of «Avtostrada – Maidan Voli».
Due to repairs on the tram tracks at the intersection of Patriotichna Street and Central Boulevard, the movement of tram No. 3 has been changed until May 25. It will operate between Zaporizhzhia-I station and Shkilna Street through the tram depot.
The operation of tram route No. 16 has been temporarily suspended.
How buses will operate in Zaporizhzhia on May 9-10
In the city, bus routes No. 7, No. 29, No. 34a, No. 38, No. 39, No. 56, No. 59, No. 71, No. 86, No. 94, No. 97, and No. 98 will continue to operate.
Additional routes have also been launched:

Buses No. 17, No. 18, and No. 72 from Borodynskyi and Osypenkyi microdistricts will operate bypassing through Arkhovyi Bridge and Khortytsia Island.
In addition, from May 5, bus No. 56 has returned to the standard route between the «Zaporizhstal» plant and the Central checkpoint.
The city council reminded that the movement of private transport in the area of repair works is conducted according to temporary road signs.
In Zaporizhzhia, restrictions on movement due to DniproHES and transport infrastructure repairs have been in effect for several weeks. As a result, the city regularly changes the operation schemes of public transport.
For the residents of Zaporizhzhia, this means longer routes and possible transport delays on the weekend of May 9-11.
