On May 15 in Zaporizhzhia, trams will operate with changes due to track and road repairs at the intersection of Patriotichna Street and Central Boulevard. Some tram routes have been shortened or temporarily suspended, and additional buses have been launched for passengers. The Zaporizhzhia City Council reports this.
Tram traffic changed in Zaporizhzhia due to repairs
Repair work at the intersection of Patriotichna Street and Central Boulevard will last from May 4 to May 25.
During this period, the city has changed the routing of electric transport.
Tram route No. 3 now operates according to the scheme «Zaporizhzhia Station-I — Shkilna Street» via the tram depot.
At the same time, the operation of tram No. 16 has been temporarily completely suspended.
Additional buses launched in Zaporizhzhia
To compensate for the changes in tram traffic, the city authorities have organized additional bus routes.
The following routes will temporarily operate in the city:

«Pavlo-Kichkas — Sedova Street»;

«Zaporizhstal — Sedova Street».
The city council notes that these routes are intended to help passengers reach areas where electric transport movement has been restricted due to repairs.
Temporary traffic scheme introduced for drivers in Zaporizhzhia
The changes affect not only public transport but also private vehicles.
Traffic in the repair area has been organized according to temporary road signs.
Drivers are asked to be attentive in the work area and consider possible traffic jams.
Recall that on May 9, Russian troops launched 738 strikes on 31 populated areas of the Zaporizhzhia region.
