Launch of the 'Return' Mental Health Center
The 12th 'Return' mental health center has opened in Zhytomyr, dedicated to providing free support to active-duty military personnel, veterans, and their families. Established in the former regional medical consultative and diagnostic center, it aims to serve over 4,000 individuals annually. The nationwide network of centers is an initiative of Viktor and Olena Pinchuk.
The 'Return' center will join a national network that has already assisted more than 10,000 people in recovering from traumatic experiences. Establishing such facilities is a crucial step in supporting the mental well-being of service members, as prolonged stress and trauma can profoundly impact their lives. This expansion addresses a critical need for accessible psychological care for those affected by the ongoing conflict.
"My wife Olena and I are developing the 'Return' network with the understanding that our heroes on the front lines are under immense psychological pressure. We must help them return to normal life as fully as possible. Working on the mental health of military personnel, veterans, and their families must be an absolute priority for the state," stated Viktor Pinchuk.

Timely professional help is not just support but a tool for preserving mental resilience, restoring functionality, and preventing future complications," noted Alyona Tsvetkova.
Therefore, the opening of the 'Return' center in Zhytomyr marks a significant advancement in providing psychological support for those who have dedicated themselves to defending their homeland. Given the growing need for assistance to military personnel and their families, such initiatives can substantially improve quality of life and aid the social adaptation of individuals who have endured traumatic events. Mental health centers continue to play a key role in the rehabilitation and recovery process, which is particularly vital in the context of the contemporary challenges facing the nation.
