In October 2025, Oleksandr Slyesarev was awarded the title of the best young athlete of the month. He became the European youth (U-19) boxing champion in the weight category over 90 kg.
In the final match at the European Championship under the auspices of World Boxing, Oleksandr demonstrated his superiority over his opponents and won the 'gold'. This allowed him to become the first on the podium of the continental championship.
