The Kyiv City Military Administration has published updated data regarding the consequences of the massive shelling of the capital. According to the head of KMVA, Tymur Tkachenkо, the enemy struck with decoys, 'Gerbеrs', 'Shahed', ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and 'Kinzhal'.
As of now, there are consequences of the attack on over 20 locations in the Darnytskyi, Dniprovs'kyi, Solom'ians'kyi, Shevchenkivs'kyi, Holosiivskyi, Obolons'kyi, and Desnians'kyi districts. Significant damage to residential buildings in the Darnytskyi and Dniprovs'kyi districts.
In the Darnytskyi district, Russians destroyed part of a 5-story building with direct hits. A rescue operation is ongoing, efforts are being made to unblock people, to pull them out from under the rubble. 9-story and 16-story residential buildings, a private house, a parking lot, and a kindergarten were damaged.
In the Dniprovs'kyi district, a 25-story residential building was damaged, a drone hit the yard next to a 9-story building, cars are on fire. Dozens of vehicles were affected at several locations.
In the Solom'ians'kyi district, a private residential house was on fire, and the fire has now been localized.
Information on victims and the injured
According to Tkachenkо's estimates, three people died as a result of the shelling, including a 14-year-old girl. Among the injured, there are five children aged 7 to 17 years. Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko clarified that four people died from the Russian combined strike, including two children.
'We are working with the Head of the State Emergency Service at one of the locations. Rescue operations are in active phase. We are involving the State Emergency Service aviation in extinguishing fires,' noted Klymenko.
The capital of Ukraine is once again under shelling, leading to serious damage to residential buildings and infrastructure. Tragic news about the dead and injured reflects the real threat facing Ukraine as a result of military aggression.
