Дзеркало війни: Успішні удари українських безпілотників по ворогові в Криму

Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces Launch Precision Strikes

On the night of June 4, Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces executed a coordinated series of attacks targeting enemy military and logistics infrastructure in temporarily occupied territories. The operation successfully eliminated several high-value assets, including:

  • A Svetlyak-class border patrol vessel;
  • A Pantsir surface-to-air missile system;
  • Logistics facilities such as fuel tanks, locomotives, and transformers.

Among the destroyed targets was a 50-meter Svetlyak-class border patrol ship, which had been providing air and anti-submarine defense for Russian forces. It was struck near the settlement of Yurkine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Additionally, a Pantsir-S1 air defense system was obliterated near the village of Strilkove in Kherson region. In the city of Saky (Crimea), a short-range radio navigation system was also hit.

Logistics Crippled in Coordinated Raids

As part of the same operations, the 'Reid' unit disabled railway equipment near Vladyslavivka and Rozdolne in Crimea. Fighters also cut power to occupation facilities in Bulavynske and Vuhlehirsk, Donetsk region. A key achievement was the destruction of fuel and lubricant storage tanks in Makiivka, Donetsk region, depriving enemy vehicles of essential supplies.

As noted by Robert Brovdi, 'The birds of the SBS hunted down a Svetlyak-class border patrol ship, a Pantsir air defense system, a navigation system, fuel tanks, locomotives, and transformers.'

Since the establishment of the command 358 days ago, Ukrainian drones have neutralized over 100,000 enemy personnel, highlighting the effectiveness of these operations.

These missions by Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces underscore the critical role of technology in modern warfare and its impact on the conflict's trajectory. By striking key military assets and supply chains, such actions can significantly degrade the enemy's combat capability and provide a strategic advantage for Ukrainian forces. They also demonstrate the growing prowess of Ukrainian drone operations in the ongoing war, potentially shaping the future of military engagements on this front.

In a related development, Ukraine's drone forces have demonstrated their striking capabilities by successfully targeting Russian aircraft and helicopters, hitting 23 different objectives in a single night. This latest operation highlights the growing effectiveness of unmanned systems in disrupting enemy operations and maintaining pressure on occupying forces.
