Attacks on Kryvyi Rih and the Yampil Community
On April 28, Russian forces launched attacks targeting Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, and the Yampil community in Sumy Oblast. The assault on Kryvyi Rih resulted in the death of a 40-year-old man, while five other men—aged 31, 32, 41, 45, and 57—sustained injuries.
In a separate incident, Russian troops used guided aerial bombs to strike civilian infrastructure in the Yampil community, damaging a kindergarten and residential buildings. Four residents of the Yampil community sought medical assistance following the attack.
Oleksandr Hanzhu commented on the situation: 'The enemy carried out multiple strikes. Infrastructure was damaged. A 40-year-old man was killed. Five other men, aged 31, 32, 41, 45, and 57, were wounded.'
This marks the 1,525th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine, a conflict that continues to exact a heavy toll on civilians and essential services.
