In the Chernihiv region, Russian occupiers attacked railway infrastructure, causing inconveniences for passenger trains. As a result, trains on the Sumi and Chernihiv routes will operate with delays due to the use of reserve locomotives.

The biggest delay concerns train No. 143 Sumi - Lviv, which was delayed by seven hours. This occurred due to shelling in the Chernihiv region, which complicated train movements.

We are inspecting the track, we already have confirmed power outages in the Nizhyn direction

The Russian Federation has started to attack Ukrainian railway infrastructure more frequently in order to spread panic among the population and cause damage to the economy. The attacks occur without indication of a specific military direction, causing serious difficulties for Ukrainian carriers and passengers.

Their first goal is to sow panic among passengers, their second goal is to strike a blow to the economy as a whole

Another attack on the railway occurred in the Odesa region on the night of September 27, when drones caused damage to railway structures. As a result, all trains were suspended at a safe distance from the strike zone.

Overall, attacks on railway infrastructure in Ukraine are increasing, creating serious obstacles for passenger transportation and causing significant losses to the country's economy.
