At the UN General Assembly, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the possibility of receiving Tomahawk cruise missiles for Ukraine with his American counterpart Donald Trump. Zelensky believes that such missiles will help achieve a peaceful resolution to the conflict with Russia.

After the negotiations, Trump responded positively to Zelensky's proposal, which sparked optimism among the Ukrainian military. If Ukraine receives Tomahawk missiles, it will allow them to have symmetrical capabilities compared to Russia and confirm Washington's support for Kyiv.

Whether the Ukrainian military will be enriched with new missiles is still unknown. However, this decision could become an important milestone in relations between Ukraine and Russia, as well as an indicator of support from the American side.

Ukrainian experts believe that Tomahawk will help deter aggressive actions by Russia and protect the country's sovereignty. The issue of missile supply has become one of the key points in the context of support for Ukraine by international partners.
