The hosts of the European futsal championship finals have been determined
At a meeting of the executive committee, UEFA determined the hosts of the finals of the European futsal championships in 2027 for women's and youth teams. According to a report from UAF, the women's championship will take place in the Croatian city of Osijek from March 14 to 21. The draw will take place on December 12, and the qualifying matches are scheduled for 2026. Eight teams will participate in the final tournament.
In addition, Euro-2027 for U-19 youth teams will be held in the Kazakh city of Astana from September 26 to October 3. The seven best teams from the youth qualifiers will join the hosts in the final tournament.
In the second round of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup, the Ukrainian national football team drew with Azerbaijan - 1:1.
European futsal finals: distribution of goals
All three European futsal championships among women held previously were won by Spain, while the Ukrainian national team secured fourth, third, and second places respectively. As for the championships among youth, the championships were won by teams from Spain and Portugal.
It is worth noting that in the next qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup, the Ukrainian national team will meet Iceland. Previously, the team suffered a defeat from France in the qualifying match, and Ukrainian fans showed their support during that game.
