Agreement between the USA and Ukraine
The agreement between the USA and Ukraine is almost ready, however, its signing depends on the upcoming meeting of the presidents of Ukraine and the USA. Volodymyr Zelensky noted that the peace plan requires the consent of four parties, including Russia. The President of Ukraine emphasized that the issue of signing the agreement is already the second most important since its outcome depends on the format of the meeting with the President of the USA, Donald Trump.
Points of the Peace Plan
According to Zelensky, the peace plan contains 20 points and involves the participation of four parties: Ukraine, the USA, Russia, and Europe. During the meeting, it is planned to discuss bilateral agreements, which are also important for further actions. The President of Ukraine emphasized that it is necessary to discuss these issues once again before making a final decision on signing.
At the same time, Zelensky noted that Ukraine has not received any response from the Russian side regarding the peace plan. Thus, further steps towards the agreement depend on the willingness of all parties to cooperate.
“I think, in some things, one can already put a period,”the president indicated, pointing out that the situation requires active actions.
The continuation of negotiations between Ukraine, the USA, Russia, and Europe is critically important for stability in the region. The lack of response from Russia regarding the peace plan underscores the existing challenges in the peace settlement process. The meeting of the presidents could become a decisive moment for the further development of events and a possible compromise that is necessary to ensure peace and security in Ukraine and around it.
