At a meeting of the Coordination Headquarters, chaired by Oleksiy Kuleba, a decision was made regarding the mandatory evacuation of children along with their parents from 19 settlements in the Donetsk region due to the increased risk. It was noted that special attention should be paid to the protection of children and persons with limited mobility, who are the most vulnerable. A decision was also made to evacuate about 200 persons with limited mobility from boarding institutions in the Zaporizhzhia region to the Chernivtsi region.
The Ministry of Social Policy, Family, and Unity, together with the Ministry of Finance, has been tasked with reviewing funding to ensure comfortable living conditions for the evacuated. Currently, there are 17 transit centers operating in Ukraine to receive the evacuated, the largest of which are located in Pavlohrad, Voloshkiv, Lozova, and Kharkiv.
