Meeting with Eutelsat representatives

The Ministry of Development held talks with officials from Eutelsat, a French company and one of the globe’s leading satellite communication operators. Discussions centered on leveraging satellite technology to rebuild roads and railways, safeguard critical infrastructure, and drive regional development.

Deputy Ministers Artem Rybchenko and Oleksiy Balesta represented the Ministry of Development during the meeting. The negotiations resulted in an agreement to launch a project focused on supplying and installing satellite communication equipment. This initiative will be carried out in coordination with the French Embassy in Ukraine and Business France.

Prospects for collaboration

Additionally, the two sides explored opportunities to broaden the partnership and scale up technological solutions in the future.

This meeting marks a major step forward for Ukraine’s infrastructure development, as satellite technology can significantly enhance connectivity in remote areas and improve the management of critical infrastructure. Teaming up with Eutelsat holds promise not only for restoring existing systems but also for rolling out innovative solutions that could boost the country’s economic growth.
