The Minister of Energy Svitlana Hrynchuk stated that Ukraine is actively preparing for the heating season of 2025-2026. She emphasized that all necessary measures are being taken to ensure the uninterrupted operation of heating networks and heating systems.
Currently, repair and restoration works are being carried out, and stocks of gas, coal, and fuel oil are being replenished. Due to constant shelling by Russia targeting energy facilities, ensuring the safety of these facilities remains a major concern.
'The assistance for purchasing imported gas provided by the EBRD, Norway, and the European Investment Bank is crucial in this regard,' Hrynchuk stressed.
The Minister of Energy highlighted the importance of support from international partners to ensure the energy security of the country and prepare for the upcoming heating season.
