Meeting Between Ukraine and Slovenia
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Yevhen Perebiynis, held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia, Tone Kaižer. During the meeting, issues of bilateral political cooperation, military assistance to Ukraine, and the development of cooperation between the defense sectors of both states were discussed.
The parties paid special attention to:
- the production of unmanned systems;
- air defense;
- missile defense.
Perebiynis expressed gratitude to Slovenia for its contribution to the PURL program, as well as for military assistance and support for international initiatives in favor of Ukraine. Furthermore, the support of Slovenia for Ukraine's European integration and assistance to the Ukrainian energy sector in anticipation of the winter period of 2026-2027 was discussed.

This meeting underscores the importance of bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Slovenia in the context of the contemporary challenges facing Ukraine, particularly in the areas of security and energy. The production of unmanned systems and the development of air defense are critically important for strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities, while support for the energy sector can help the country navigate the challenging winter months. Slovenia, as a member of the European Union, also plays a key role in supporting Ukraine's European integration, which can have long-term positive consequences for the stability of the region.
