At the end of August 2025, over 14.5 thousand tons of energy equipment necessary for the restoration of the energy infrastructure arrived in Ukraine. According to the State Customs Service, these goods cost around UAH 6.55 billion.
Among the imported equipment are various types of turbines, generators, batteries, and inverters necessary to ensure the resilience of the energy system. The import was carried out taking into account legislative benefits related to customs payments. The total amount of benefits granted in August amounted to over UAH 1.41 billion.
'The volumes of energy equipment imports remain at the same level as last year. For example, in August 2024, 15.05 thousand tons of similar goods worth over UAH 6.73 billion were imported into the country, while nearly UAH 1.4 billion more in customs benefits was provided,' the State Customs Service explained.
In August 2025, energy equipment worth about UAH 6.55 billion was imported into Ukraine, which will contribute to the restoration of the national energy infrastructure. Such imports will not only help increase the stability of the energy system but will also have a positive impact on the development of the energy equipment market in Ukraine.
