Ukraine plans to increase spending on the national security and defense sector according to the amendments to the Budget-2025. This will be the largest spending in the country's history, amounting to 31.1% of the projected GDP for this year. Currently, Ukraine is already a world leader in this indicator, surpassing even Israel.
According to data from a people's deputy, Ukraine also spends an extremely large share of its budget on defense needs. Furthermore, the country mobilizes resources through its own means via internal revenues and borrowings, since external partners do not provide financial assistance in this direction.
The Ukrainian budget for defense will grow, and this is an important step towards strengthening the country's security amid instability and military threats.
