The Ministry of Defense announced that Ukraine, together with its partners, is reclaiming 'lost to fire' territories and is conducting various 'military games' for this purpose. The First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Ivan Havryliuk emphasized that such actions help the country and its allies develop a strategy for the future, plan actions, and find the most effective ways to act in the event of the de-occupation of occupied territories.
'We have a clear vision of how to return all temporarily occupied territories back to Ukraine. Together with the British and Americans, we conducted 'military games' and modeled various scenarios to have a strategy for the future,' Havryliuk noted.
In particular, he noted that it is important to have a realistic approach to the situation in the Black Sea region and to gain control over this water space. It was also emphasized the importance of considering that occupied Crimea has become a powerful military base for Russia with a large number of troops.
Strategy for the de-occupation of Ukrainian territories
Ukraine is actively developing a strategy for the de-occupation of its territories together with international allies and is using modern military planning methods to achieve this goal.
