Ukraine's Winter Olympic History
Ukraine made its Winter Olympic debut at the 1994 Lillehammer Games with a team of 37 athletes. Since then, the nation has participated in every subsequent Winter Olympics, with the size of its delegation fluctuating over time. The largest team to date was at the 2002 Salt Lake City Games, where 70 Ukrainian athletes competed.

At the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina, Ukraine will be represented by 46 athletes. This marks the country's largest delegation in 16 years, signaling a resurgence in the development and international ambitions of its winter sports programs.
