Ukraine ranks 15th at Eurovision with 53 points from the jury

Eurovision 2026 Grand Final

Held in Vienna, Austria, on the night of May 16–17, the Eurovision 2026 Grand Final featured 25 competing nations. Ukraine finished 15th in the national jury ranking, earning a total of 53 points. Bulgaria topped the jury vote with 204 points. The Ukrainian spokesperson for the jury votes was Danyil Leshchynskyi, lead singer of the band Ziferblat, who represented the country in 2025 with the song Bird of Pray.

Scoring and Results

In the final, Ukraine received its first 12 points from the Swiss national jury. The country also received 10 points from Azerbaijan. Other jury points awarded to Ukraine were:

  • 7 points from Italy
  • 7 points from the United Kingdom
  • 7 points from Latvia
  • 6 points from France
  • 3 points from Portugal
  • 1 point from Poland
  • 1 point from Romania

These scores placed Ukraine 15th in the overall jury standings. In turn, Ukraine’s jury gave its 12 points to Malta, 10 to Israel, 8 to Moldova, 7 to Czechia, 6 to Finland, 5 to France, 4 to Italy, 3 to Romania, 2 to Australia, and 1 to the United Kingdom.

Ukraine’s 2026 Eurovision entrant, Leleka, performed seventh in the final lineup, accompanied by Yaroslav Dzhus on the bandura. This final marked a significant moment for Ukrainian music on the international stage, regardless of the competition outcome.

The results of the Eurovision 2026 final highlight Ukraine’s position in the European music scene, even though the country did not break into the top ranks. Votes from other nations reflect support for Ukrainian artists and underscore the importance of participating in such contests to promote Ukrainian culture. During the competition, Ukraine showcased its musical potential, laying groundwork for future achievements in upcoming events.

Despite finishing 15th in the jury rankings, Ukraine's participation in the Eurovision 2026 Grand Final was marked by a powerful performance from Leleka, who captivated the audience with their unique sound.
