Ukraine has already received 5.9 billion euros from the European Union for important areas of its state budget. Of these, 4.1 billion euros are part of the EU contribution to the G7 Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration for Ukraine (ERA) initiative, which aims to support Ukraine's financial stability and defense capabilities.
Another 1.8 billion euros came as a loan from the EU through the Ukraine Facility instrument. These funds will be directed to support social and defense needs, as well as to rebuild the country after difficult trials.
Ukrainian Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko expressed gratitude to the European Commission for support and cooperation in resolving financial issues necessary for the country's future development.
Currently, Ukraine has received significant financial assistance from the G7 countries and the EU, totaling nearly 35 billion US dollars. This will allow the country to strengthen its economy and readiness for further challenges.
