The Ukrainian government has received significant support from international partners ahead of the winter season. In the last 100 days of the government’s work, donor countries have sent dozens of shipments of critically important equipment for energy. In total, the amount of involved and expected assistance is over 146 million euros.
— In the last 100 days of the government’s work, an additional 113 million euros have been aggregated. Moreover, we have practically confirmed statements from partner countries for another 33.1 million euros,' — said Deputy Minister of Energy Mykola Kolisnyk.
At the same time, the Ukrainian energy sector has received 86 shipments from 14 countries around the world, which delivered 1126 tons of critically important equipment and materials for infrastructure restoration. Currently, all 9 operating nuclear reactors in the territory controlled by Ukraine are providing the base load in the power grid. The government has also prepared the necessary stock of fuel materials for the winter period.
The government continues active work to attract additional assistance from international partners to enhance the country's energy security.
