Ukrainian military personnel received a second F-16 flight simulator from the Czech company Dogfight Boss, which will significantly enhance their training for flying American fighters. The funds for purchasing the simulator were raised via crowdfunding on the Donio platform. This news is reported by 'Glavkom', citing iRozhlas.

Dogfight Boss's director Lukasz Gomola handed the simulator to one of the Ukrainian aviation universities. He explained that the simulator features a large panoramic screen displaying the landscape and a highly realistic cockpit, allowing for practice in combat operations and aircraft control.

According to future pilot Albert, the simulator provides 'full immersion in the flight process' and helps quickly grasp the techniques. He added that after 10–15 hours of training on the simulator, pilots can proceed to further training abroad.

Lukasz Gomola noted that the company constantly improves its simulators by enhancing the software, increasing resolution, and realism of the pedals. He shared a humorous incident at the border, where due to the simulator's picturesque design, it was mistaken for a real airplane, so future models will have a simpler yet sturdy appearance.

Support from the Czech people and Dogfight Boss

Brigadier General Andrey Berezhnoi, who heads the aviation university, expressed gratitude to the Czech people and the company Dogfight Boss for their support. According to him, 'this unique simulator will allow us to train our students and future pilots at a high level' amid constant changes in aerial combat.

Let us remind you that Ukrainian military airfields are one of the primary targets of Russian aerial assaults; however, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to avoid losses of aircraft during such attacks. This is reported by 'Glavkom', citing Business Insider.
