In the early months of 2026, Ukraine has received more than 2,000 units of energy equipment from international partners. “It’s important to understand what kind of equipment has arrived. A ten-kilowatt generator is counted as one unit, but a hundred-kilowatt generator is a completely different matter. If this list were broken down to see exactly what arrived, then I could provide a clearer and more understandable expert assessment,”

Oleg Popenko also emphasized that Ukraine received practically no small-scale equipment. “Powerful stations, installations, and transformers were delivered, meaning it was all very high-capacity,” he said.
