The government invests in Ukrainian drones
The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, announced an increase in investments in domestic drones and the strengthening of defense forces, reports 'Hvylya'.
According to him, 8 billion hryvnias will be redistributed for military needs. These funds will be used for military units of the Armed Forces involved in the 'Drone Line' project, as well as for strengthening drone systems in newly established units.
An additional investment of one billion hryvnias will be directed towards anti-drone protection of evacuation and logistics routes. In addition, Ukraine is cooperating with partners from the Netherlands under an agreement to purchase Ukrainian drones.
Funding for the 'Drone Line' project and cooperation with the Netherlands
Minister Denys Shmyhal noted that investing in the 'Drone Line' project allows urgent funding needs for military units that successfully use drones in their activities. Additionally, thanks to cooperation with the Netherlands, Ukrainian manufacturers have received orders for the supply of drones.
The government of Ukraine is increasing investment in Ukrainian drones and supporting the 'Drone Line' project to strengthen drone systems in the Armed Forces. Cooperation with the Netherlands also contributes to the development of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex.
