Social Benefit Funding as of May 10
By May 10, funding had been disbursed for various social benefits, including pensions, subsidies, insurance payments, and social assistance. During May, the Pension Fund of Ukraine provided 441,600 services to individuals who submitted requests.
Breakdown of Allocated Funds
Specifically, 29.5 billion hryvnias were set aside for pension payments, distributed as follows:
- 4.4 billion hryvnias were financed through Ukrposhta JSC;
- 25.1 billion hryvnias were channeled through authorized banks.
Housing subsidies and benefits consumed 3.3 billion hryvnias, while insurance payments accounted for 1.9 billion hryvnias—of which 0.5 billion hryvnias went toward sick leave compensation. Additionally, 6.4 billion hryvnias were allocated for social assistance and other payouts.
These figures highlight the government's active role in addressing the population's social needs, especially amid ongoing economic pressures. Financing various social benefits is a critical component of maintaining household financial stability and ensuring social protection for Ukrainians.
