The Ministry of Defense has codified anti-drone ammunition from several Ukrainian manufacturers, which will allow for the deployment of large-scale serial production for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal.
Shmyhal noted that these new anti-drone ammunition will enable more effective combat against enemy FPV drones and 'maviks'. The Ministry of Defense is also working on expanding the arsenal of modern weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to strengthen their defense capabilities.
Additionally, the Australian company EOS has introduced a mobile laser weapon, Apollo, capable of shooting down drones without the use of ammunition. Recent events show that the conflict between Ukraine and Russia requires not only traditional means but also technological innovations and the use of cutting-edge developments.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine actively supports Ukrainian manufacturers and is working on modernizing the Armed Forces' weapons to ensure the country's security amid modern military threats.
