In September 2025, Ukraine exported 3.7 million tons of agricultural products, which is 6.5% less than in the previous month. This was reported by the Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business.

According to UKAB, compared to September of the previous year, the decrease in agricultural product exports is 25%. The reasons for this situation include a delay in harvesting by 2-3 weeks, the imposition of tariffs on soybean and rapeseed exports, which led to a significant reduction in shipments. The export of oilseeds decreased by 53%.

The structure of agricultural product exports in September 2025 was as follows:

  • Cereal crops: 2.4 million tons (wheat - 86%, barley - 12%, corn - 2%). Decrease compared to the previous month: -1%;

  • Oilseeds - 322.4 thousand tons (rapeseed - 73%, soybean - 24%, flax - 2%). Decrease: -53%;

  • Vegetable oils - 313.3 thousand tons (sunflower - 53%, rapeseed - 35%, soybean - 12%). Increase: 48%;

  • Meal after oil extraction - 281.0 thousand tons (sunflower - 62%, soybean - 38%). Increase: 0%;

  • Other types of agro-industrial products - 340.0 thousand tons. Increase: +5%.

Future Forecasts

Next month, we expect an activation of agricultural product exports due to the increase in volumes of harvested late crops and optimization of the export processes for soybean and rapeseed
, they noted at UKAB.

According to the Ukrainian Club of Agrarian Business, in September 2025, there was a decline in the export of agricultural products from Ukraine, but positive changes are expected in the future due to the increase in harvest volumes and the improvement of export processes.
