Delegations from Ukraine, US, and Russia to Hold Donbas Talks in Abu Dhabi

Three-Way Talks Scheduled for Abu Dhabi

A crucial meeting on the Donbas conflict will take place in Abu Dhabi today and tomorrow, involving representatives from Ukraine, the United States, and Russia. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized the centrality of this issue, stating that discussions will proceed based on the perspectives of all three parties involved.

Delegation Rosters

Ukraine has expanded its delegation for the negotiations in the UAE. Its members include:

  • Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Rustem Umerov
  • Head of the President's Office, Kyrylo Budanov
  • Deputy Head of the President's Office, Serhiy Kyslytsia
  • Head of the 'Servant of the People' parliamentary faction, David Arakhamia
  • Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Andrii Hnatov
  • Representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Vadym Skibitskyi

The Russian delegation has also been formed and will depart for Abu Dhabi shortly. It includes representatives from the leadership of the Russian Ministry of Defense. President Zelenskyy noted he will closely monitor the progress of the talks and provide appropriate signals at each stage.

These talks occur amid heightened tensions surrounding the situation in Donbas and increased international efforts to find a peaceful resolution to the conflict. The participation of the United States underscores its active role in attempts to stabilize the region. The outcome of these negotiations is anticipated to influence future developments in Ukraine and broader international policy.
