Ukraine and Korea have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of training construction machinery operators. The State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine and the Association of Manufacturers of Construction Machinery of the Republic of Korea (KOCEMA) have entered into an agreement to establish a specialized training center in Ukraine. This center is designed to train operators of excavators, cranes, bulldozers, and other heavy machinery, the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development reported.
The training center will be equipped with modern simulators and equipment from Korea, allowing Ukrainian personnel to receive quality training in accordance with international standards. The Deputy Prime Minister for Ukraine's Restoration, Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleba noted: 'This will provide the opportunity to train people on modern equipment and simulators, ensure employment for veterans, women, and youth, and contribute to the restoration of infrastructure in communities'.
The programs include practical training for operators and technical personnel according to international safety and operation standards. The center will prepare personnel for work on residential, road, and engineering sites.
The memorandum also anticipates the participation of Korean manufacturers in recovery projects in Ukraine, namely equipment supply, demonstration activities, and consulting support. Ukrainian and Korean specialists will also collaborate in harmonizing technical standards and providing professional courses and internships.
The signed memorandum of cooperation in the field of training construction machinery operators between Ukraine and Korea establishes the creation of a training center in Ukraine for personnel training according to international standards and fosters cooperation between specialists from both countries in the field of construction and infrastructure restoration.
