The meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Development of Ukraine and the German economic delegation was dedicated to discussing the prospects of German investments in the recovery of Ukraine, the development of infrastructure projects, and public-private partnerships.
Participants in the meeting emphasized the restoration of critical infrastructure, energy-efficient housing construction, modernization of heating supply systems, as well as updating water supply and wastewater systems.
'At the moment, more than 1200 projects have been formed that can be implemented with the participation of businesses - both Ukrainian and international - on the terms of public-private partnerships or with donor support. For us, it is important not only the speed of recovery but also its quality, sustainability, and technological advancement,' emphasized Deputy Minister Konstantin Kovalchuk.
Also participating in the meeting were representatives of the German-Ukrainian Chamber of Industry and Commerce and German companies from Baden-Württemberg that are involved in construction, energy, machine engineering, bioenergy, and other industries.
During the meeting, possibilities for joint projects in Ukraine, the participation of German businesses in international recovery programs, and the creation of sectoral working groups to coordinate further actions were discussed.
During the meeting, representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and the German economic delegation discussed potential opportunities for implementing projects in various sectors of the Ukrainian economy. Emphasis was placed on the importance of quality and sustainable reconstruction of the country's infrastructure involving both domestic and foreign investments.
