On December 15, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ) signed a Declaration of Intent to support labor market reforms through a new program JobConnect. This will be a step towards the socio-economic development of Ukraine and will facilitate its integration into the European space.
The agreement reflects the joint view of both countries on the importance of conducting labor market reforms in the context of social policy, enhancing institutional capacity and effectively utilizing state resources, as well as calling for cooperation with additional partners.
The signing of this Declaration is an important component of a broader strategic plan for reforming the labor market in Ukraine and developing cooperation with international partners to introduce modern approaches in the field of employment.
According to the signed agreement, cooperation between Ukraine and Germany in this direction will contribute to the creation of new opportunities for Ukrainians in the labor market and will generally help improve the employment system in Ukraine.
