The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, together with the Minister of Defense of Norway, Tore Sandvik, signed an agreement for the joint production of Ukrainian drones. This initiative involves the creation of a pilot production line in 2026 and further expansion of its capabilities.
Denys Shmyhal noted: 'Ukraine and Norway will jointly exchange experiences and innovations. We will receive modern drones for our military thanks to the new production facility, and we will also establish partnerships in the field of science and technology with leading Norwegian institutions.'
Cooperation between Ukraine and Norway in drone production is an important step in strengthening defense cooperation between the two countries. It will also create opportunities for technology exchange and joint development of new innovations in the military sector.
