Ukraine and Poland have established a joint working group to develop unmanned aerial systems. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, who signed a memorandum in Kyiv. The initiative is aimed at ensuring security in the region amid threats from Russia.

'We are moving to a new level of cooperation in response to Russian terror, which poses a threat not only to Ukraine but also to other countries in Europe. The foundation of this working group will consist of joint training programs,' emphasized Shmyhal.

The working group plans to facilitate the exchange of experience in the field of unmanned aerial systems, develop new methods of utilizing these technologies, and support cooperation with NATO standards. A declaration was also signed to strengthen security and defense cooperation, in which Poland supported Ukraine in these initiatives and plans.

Polish Defense Minister Wojciech Skurkiewicz confirmed support and active participation in the cooperation projects. He emphasized the importance of experience exchange and collaboration in the field of unmanned aviation, highlighting that the Polish are looking forward to joint efforts to address the problems arising from the acceptance of aid from Western allies.
