Ukraine is negotiating with the United States on the sale of drones and the acquisition of American weapons. This was stated by Ruslan Stefanchuk, the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, on the air of the 'We-Ukraine' channel.
According to him, the world is interested in the production of drones and anti-drone systems in Ukraine, and the country's defense industry is preparing to present new developments. Plans include cooperation with Denmark and the Czech Republic, as well as an agreement with the USA on mutual supply of drones and weapons.
Regarding cooperation with the United States, Zelensky noted: 'Trump is interested in Ukrainian drones, and we need air defense systems from them.'
Both sides cooperate in the military field, in particular, discussing the creation of an 'air shield' over Ukraine. Interestingly, the common interest lies not only in agreements but also in the importance of ensuring national security and defense capability.
Ukraine is actively developing cooperation with global partners in military technology and defense, which may positively impact its defense capability and geopolitical standing in the region.
