Today, October 10, the Ukraine U21 football team is preparing for a match against Hungary, which will take place in the Slovenian city of Murska Sobota at the Fazanerija Stadium. The game is scheduled to start at 19:00 Kyiv time. The match will be broadcast on the UAF YouTube channel.
“We formed the squad after the U-20 team finalized its list. Because of this, many players who were previously called up to the U21 team did not come this time. At the same time, this opens up opportunities for new performers. We will see how they showcase themselves at this level. This is their chance,” said the head coach of our team Unai Melgosa.
The lineup of the Ukraine U21 team for the match against Hungary includes players from various Ukrainian and foreign clubs. The team also features representatives from Shakhtar, Dynamo, Zorya, as well as players who compete in other countries, such as Germany and Italy.
It is also worth mentioning that the Ukraine U21 football team has already played in a qualifying match for the 2026 World Cup, where they faced the Azerbaijan team and ended with a 1:1 draw.
