Digitization of public services in Ukraine
Ukraine has entered the top five global leaders in digital states, thanks to significant development of digital public services over the past six and a half years. This progress has been made possible by the implementation of the concept of convenience of the state for the person, which involves simplifying the processes of interaction between citizens and government institutions, even in wartime.
Ukraine's achievements in digitization
Among Ukraine's achievements are:
- the first country in the world to introduce digital passports that have legal force;
- the fastest business registration that promotes entrepreneurship;
- innovative services that have no analogs in the world, such as online marriage, Diia.Signature, payments in one click;
- complete digital compensation for destroyed housing — eRestoration;
- implementation of an AI assistant for public services in Diia.
Tens of projects have been launched, including Diia.Education, Diia.Business, CDTO Campus, and UNITED24, which underline Ukraine's efforts in the direction of digitizing public services and increasing their accessibility for the population.
This success of Ukraine in digitizing public services reflects the government's efforts to adapt to modern challenges, especially in wartime conditions. The implementation of digital solutions contributes not only to convenience for citizens but also to the country's economic development, as simplifying procedures can attract investments and support entrepreneurship. Further development and implementation of new technologies in this area can significantly impact the quality of life of the population and the effectiveness of government institutions.
