The Ukrainian side, adhering to humanitarian principles, returned to the Russian Federation the bodies of two servicemen of the Russian Federation who were discovered during recent repatriation procedures for the deceased. This was reported by 'Glaicom' citing Igor Klimenko.
According to Igor Klimenko, during the repatriation of the bodies, Ukrainian experts identified two bodies that had personal military tokens of the armed forces of the Russian Federation. The token numbers were published: No. AV 846408 and No. AV 449638.

The Ukrainian side conducted all necessary checks, inspections, and expertise. After that, in accordance with humanitarian principles and agreements on repatriation, the bodies were officially handed over to the Russian side.
Currently, Ukraine has no confirmation that the Russian side properly notified the relatives of these deceased about the return of the bodies to Russian territory.
