The Ukrainian Armed Forces are not leaving Russian oil pumping stations in peace, especially such as the NPS 'Unecha', which supplies oil to Hungary and Slovakia through the 'Druzhba' pipeline. Hungarian and Slovak officials are threatening to stop diesel fuel supplies to Ukraine in response.
According to the director of the 'A-95' agency, Serhiy Kuyn, Ukraine can easily compensate not only for 10% of the diesel fuel coming from Russia but also for all 40% of the total fuel volumes. This has become possible due to the new supply system through road and rail logistics that the country has built after the Russians lost their pre-war infrastructure. Currently, Ukraine receives petroleum products from Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Italy, and for the first time - from Germany. Over six months, import volumes have increased by 5.4% to 5.3 million tons. The geographically diversified system has withstood several tests, allowing it to disregard various threats.
