The government has approved a plan for priority public investments for the next three years. This is a historic event for Ukraine, as it is the first time a plan has been developed with specific directions and funding. It defines 170 directions across 16 sectors, of which 51 are prioritized. A total of over 581 billion hryvnias will be allocated to transport, energy, education, and science, which are critically important areas.

'We are building a system where every hryvnia works towards results. This is a step towards strategic investment in the development and recovery of the country,' emphasized Yulia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine.

The government has also defined four cross-cutting goals that must be taken into account in all projects: energy efficiency, adaptation to climate change, equal opportunities for women and men, and accessibility of services for all groups of the population.

According to the plan, the highest attention and funding will be given to sectors such as transport, energy, education, science, healthcare, and the social sphere. All projects will be selected in advance, and only those that meet the priorities will enter the Unified Project Portfolio for funding.

Thus, the adopted medium-term investment plan aims to improve the country's development, ensure sustainable economic growth, and support key areas of citizens' lives.
