Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal noted that Ukraine has successfully completed the eighth review under an IMF program for the first time. The country received 500 million dollars as the ninth tranche under the joint program with the International Monetary Fund. 'Never in the history of independence has Ukraine been able to pass the eighth review under a single program. Now the Ukrainian government and the state are reliable partners,' emphasized Shmyhal.

Moreover, at the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukraine was able to receive over 135 billion dollars in budget support from various partners. Recently, Canada provided Ukraine with 1.7 billion dollars, which was secured by revenues from frozen Russian assets. 'Our joint ERA program has already yielded results, and the frozen Russian assets are being used to support Ukraine's defense capabilities and resilience,' he emphasized.
