Ukraine attracted over 250 billion UAH through military bonds: who invested in military securities

The Ukrainian government actively raised funds through the placement of government bonds. In the period from January to July 2025, over 250 billion hryvnias, 863.8 million US dollars, and 562.7 million euros were raised through auctions. Of this amount, over 209 billion hryvnias, 1.3 billion US dollars, and 665.7 million euros were used to redeem previously issued government securities.



In total, the Ukrainian government attracted over 1.3 trillion hryvnias amidst the full-scale invasion affecting the country's financial market. These funds were raised through primary auctions, while over 884.564 billion hryvnias were spent on redemptions. The highest yield on military bonds in July 2025 was 17.80% in hryvnias, 4.25% in US dollars, and 3.25% in euros.



The Ukrainian government continues to actively raise financing in both domestic and international markets to ensure the stability of the country's economy and meet necessary expenses amid global instability.
