Agreement Signed to Develop the Back2Impact Ukraine Initiative
During the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC) 2026, a memorandum of cooperation was signed to advance the Back2Impact Ukraine platform. The agreement involves Ukraine’s Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity, and the organization Ukraine Global Scholars. The platform’s main goal is to encourage skilled young Ukrainians living abroad to return and contribute to the country’s rebuilding.
What Back2Impact Ukraine Offers
Back2Impact Ukraine is a digital tool designed to connect Ukrainians overseas with employment opportunities back home. It targets several groups:
- young Ukrainians;
- graduates of international universities;
- professionals with work experience abroad;
- members of the Ukrainian diaspora.
The platform will provide a range of services, including:
- personalized job and internship recommendations;
- access to other career opportunities;
- practical guidance on relocating and settling in Ukraine.
For Ukraine, bringing talent back is a key part of economic recovery. It’s not just about urging people to return—we need to show them real opportunities. Daryna Marchak, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Ukraine
The launch of Back2Impact Ukraine marks a significant step in the nation’s efforts to rebuild its economy after years of hardship. By luring young professionals back, the initiative aims to restore the workforce and boost innovation across multiple sectors. This effort could enhance Ukraine’s global competitiveness by creating an appealing environment for youth eager to realize their potential at home.
As Ukraine seeks to rebuild and strengthen its economy, understanding the key sectors for post-war recovery becomes essential. These sectors play a crucial role in creating a robust framework that can support the return of young professionals through initiatives like Back2Impact Ukraine, ultimately driving innovation and growth in the country.
