Yesterday, December 12, the Ministry of Economy, Ecology and Agriculture of Ukraine presented a draft of the Employment Strategy until 2030, which envisages a systematic reform of the labor market. This document is the first of its kind in years of independence and aims to overcome the imbalance between supply and demand in the labor market.

The strategy contains a number of strategic tasks, among which are ensuring employers' demand for labor, aligning educational outcomes with labor market needs, increasing the number of formal jobs, and many other important aspects to improve employment in Ukraine.

This strategy is also significant for Ukraine's European integration as it brings Ukrainian legislation closer to European labor standards and ensures equal opportunities.

The next step is the government's approval of the strategy and the start of its implementation. The preparation of the document is supported by the German government and the 'REYOIN' project.

Currently, the document is still being developed, but more information can be found at the link: https://lnk.ua/k4x92q1ey.
